LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born on December 30, 1984) is an American professional basketball player with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James, he's widely regarded to be the greatest player of all-time and frequently compared to Michael Jordan during debates about the greatest basketballer ever. James has been awarded four NBA championships as well as four NBA MVPs as well as three MVPs of the All-Star team and 2 Olympic medals. James had more points than any other player during the playoffs, has had the second most points in his career and is seventh in career assists. James is part of the NBA All-Stars and 18 All-NBA Teams, and five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. James was the third player to play in the NBA Finals. Eight of those were consecutive from 2011 through 2018. James was picked as a part of the NHL75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022, he became the first NBA player in history to earn 10,000 or higher career points. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, which is located in his home town of Akron Ohio and was heavily advertised by national media for his potential as an NBA star. The Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the number one pick of the NBA draft in 2003.
