Lis Wehl, born 19th August 1961 in the US, is an author and former legal expert for Fox News.
She is an adjunct professor of law at New York Law School, and formerly was an associate professor at the University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentaries on the National Public Radio program and the Bill O'Reilly radio show, The Radio Factor. She appeared regularly for The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today, The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly with Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl was born in Yakima and went to West Valley High School. She earned her bachelor's at Barnard College, followed by a master of arts in literature at the University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl worked as an attorney at the US Attorney's Office. She was the legal correspondent for NPR All Things Considered. She was the "deputy chief investigatory attorney for Democrats on House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's administration. She was tenured professor of legal studies at the University of Washington School of Law, Seattle from 1995-2001, and she directed an organization called the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl was a Fox News legal analyst from 2001 until 2017.
